This Privacy Policy (the "Policy") describes how mitsutsu Inc. (the "Company") handles information about users of https://mitsutsu.jp (the "Site") and the applications the Company provides, including Hush (collectively, the "Services").

Please read this Policy carefully before using the Services. By using the Services, you are deemed to have agreed to this Policy.

1. Information we collect

The Site (https://mitsutsu.jp)

The Site may collect standard access logs (IP address, browser type, referring URL, pages visited, time on page) through analytics tooling for the purpose of understanding usage and improving quality. These logs do not identify you personally.

Information you voluntarily provide via contact forms or email (name, email address, message content) is used solely for the purposes described in Section 2.

Applications offered by the Company (Hush, etc.)

Hush is an application that analyzes microphone input in real time to detect specific sounds and automatically mute your microphone. Hush does not collect, store, or transmit any of the following:

• Audio data (no recording of any kind)
• Personally identifying information (name, email, phone number, etc.)
• Device identifiers (Advertising ID, IDFA, UUID, etc.)
• Usage analytics or telemetry
• Location data

All sound classification is performed on your Mac using Apple's Sound Analysis framework. Audio captured from the microphone is used only for classification and is immediately discarded from memory.

2. How we use information

Information described in Section 1 is used only for:

• Operating, providing, and improving the Site and the Services
• Responding to inquiries and communications
• Preventing fraud, abuse, or violation of terms
• Producing aggregated statistics (in a form that does not identify any individual)

3. Microphone access (apps)

Hush requires permission to access the microphone in order to listen for specific sounds (baby crying, doorbell, dog barking, etc.) in real time and automatically mute your microphone.

Audio captured from the microphone is used only for on-device sound classification on your Mac. It is never transmitted to any server, never stored, and never shared with third parties for any purpose.

4. In-app purchases

In-app purchases in Hush (such as Hush Pro) are processed entirely by the Apple App Store payment system. The Company does not directly receive or handle your credit card information, Apple ID password, or other payment-related data.

For refunds or cancellation of purchases, please contact Apple Support.

5. Cookies

The Site may use cookies to improve user experience, perform analytics, and enable certain features. You can configure your browser to refuse cookies, but doing so may limit some functionality of the Site.

6. Disclosure to third parties

The Company does not disclose personal information to third parties without your consent, except:

• When required to do so by law
• When necessary to protect the life, body, or property of a person, and obtaining consent is difficult
• When cooperating with a national or local government agency in the execution of duties prescribed by law

7. Third-party services

The Site and the Services may use the following third-party services. Please review each provider's privacy policy for details on how they handle data.

• Apple App Store (app distribution and payment processing)
• Analytics tooling (Site access log aggregation only)

The Hush app itself does not transmit data to any third-party service.

8. Security

The Company takes reasonable and appropriate measures to prevent the loss, leakage, or unauthorized alteration of information we hold.

9. Your rights

You may request disclosure, correction, addition, deletion, suspension of use, or suspension of third-party provision of your personal information. Please contact us at the address in Section 12. After verifying your identity, we will respond within a reasonable time.

10. Children's privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If a parent or guardian believes that a child has provided personal information, please contact us at Section 12 and we will delete the information after verification.

11. Changes to this policy

This Policy may be revised without prior notice in response to changes in law or in the Services. Material changes will be announced on this page. The revised Policy takes effect when posted on this page.
